Ötzi Dorf

The archaeological open-air park Ötzi-Dorf in Umhausen offers a lively insight into Neolithic history. The Ötzi village is not a museum in the conventional sense, but an open-air park that invites you to actively participate.

Be it making fire, archery, tanning skins or much more.

You can see, among other things, authentically recreated huts, tools, weapons, historical pets, a 1: 1 replica of the place where the “Ötzi” was found and much more.

See, feel, join in … in Ötzi-Dorf the past can be relived. In addition to special exhibitions on various topics such as music, clothing, jewelry, weapons and tools, the focus is on authentically showing the Neolithic village life and making it tangible.

You can actively take part in free tours, use an audio guide (German, English, French, Italian and Dutch) or use your own mobile phone as an audio guide.

Many special courses for children and teenagers as well as the whole family complete the rich offer.
