Sölden

The Sölden ski area is one of the most famous ski areas in the Alps. And for good reason too: thanks to its altitude of 1,350 to 3,340 meters, two glaciers and modern snowmaking, there is reliable snow here from October to May.

Highly comfortable mountain railways open up 144 km of freshly groomed slopes for every skill level and crisp variations for freeriders.

But that’s not all: the outstanding mountain gastronomy, the legendary après-ski and unique highlights in the ski area – such as 007 ELEMENTS or the BIG 3 rally – make every Sölden ski day an event.

If you are already hot for the ski season after hiking and biking, you don’t have to leave Sölden: The snow-sure glacier ski area on the Rettenbach and Tiefenbachferner offers first-class slope conditions and plenty of space to create your own lane in large radii. The surrounding area is also in the starting blocks: ski rentals, sports shops and gastronomy inspire the early birds with full service. The way to this skier’s paradise leads over the Ötztal Glacier Road.

FEEL ABOVE: THE 5 TYROLEAN GLACIERS

The best thing about the 5 Tyrolean glaciers? Difficult to say: is it the distant view? The extra long season? The plus in hours of sunshine? Is it the departures? In any case, one thing is certain: the 5 Tyrolean glaciers are not just ski areas. These mountains stand for the extraordinary feeling of elation, the „being on top“. 3,000 meters above sea level, more skiing fun, a great panorama, the most modern infrastructure, culinary highlights and top-class events are guaranteed.
